Use Well What God Gives You

For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. (Luke 19:26)

God expects us to use what He has given us.  He does not accept excuses that we have not been given what someone else has been given.  He does not accept excuses that our gift is not like someone else’s gift.  He does not accept excuses that our talent is not like someone else’s talent.  He does not accept excuses that what someone else has is more than what we have.  God requires labor from all of His subjects.  He never requires more than our very best.  We will not be judged on someone else’s labor but on our own.  If we use what God gives us, no matter how much it is, God will increase it simply because we have been faithful over a few things.  If we do not use what God gives us, then God will take even that away.  The New Living Translation (NLT) reads this way “…..but to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given.  But from those who are unfaithful, even what little they have will be taken away.” Whatever God has given you, use it well.  When He returns, He will want to know, what have you done with the gift I gave unto you?
