Watch That Stone Throwing

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.  (John 8:7)

Whenever you see someone pointing a finger at someone else’s faults or shortcomings, it is highly likely that they are hiding their own.  The Bible says all have sinned.  We do not have room to point the finger at someone else.  We do not have the freedom to throw stones at someone else.  If we will only look in the mirror, we might see that we have a beam in our own eye.  Any of us can fall at any time.  Never think that you are too strong that Satan can’t get His hands on you.  Go to God in prayer and ask Him to keep you.  If the Lord don’t keep you, you will fall.  Pray for the brother or sister who has fallen into the snare of the devil.  Stop throwing stones and begin passing mercy.  Restore one who has repented and don’t bring up past failures.  Remember the stone you throw might be used to throw back at you.  Rather than throwing stones to hurt, use the stone to build trust.  Use the stone to build relationships.  Use the stone to build friendships.  Use the stone to build a foundation that one who has fallen might be able to stand.  He that is without sin among you………………  He that has never done wrong among you…………..
