Be Careful Because The Days Are Evil

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,  16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  (Ephesians 5:15-16)

Believers can walk circumspectly (carefully) or they can walk as fools.  A person who walks circumspectly is careful about every step they take.  They do not make rash decisions.  They do not run after everything that comes along.  They seek wise counsel.  One who walks carefully will first seek counsel from God.  One who walks as a fool is subject to do anything.  He cannot be trusted.  He moves without thinking.  He is unconcerned about how he affects the ministry by what he does.  He is unconcerned about using his time wisely.  He has no concern about the value of time.  We are living in an evil day.  We must take every opportunity (redeeming the time) to do good works.  We don’t know what time we have but the time that God has given us should be used to the best of our ability with wisdom.  Spend time doing good works.  Spend time living righteous.  Spend time being obedient to the word of God.  Spend time helping others.  Spend time visiting the sick and afflicted.  Spend time ministering to those in need.  The days are evil.  So be careful how you walk.
