Teaching The New Covenant With Confidence

5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;  6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.  (II Corinthians 3:5-6)

Our confidence is not found in human strength or human resources but in divine power.  Thank God that we do not have to depend upon our own power.  Our power is insufficient.  God’s power is sufficient.  How do we go through life and deal with all the trials of this world.  Do we depend on men?  On Money?  On power? On the president?  On programs?  On popularity?  We deal with this life’s trials by placing our dependence upon God.  God is sufficient.  If we were forced to live by the letter of the law, we would have no hope.  For we cannot live by the law.  We have confidence in the new covenant.  The new covenant has it’s power in Christ and not in man.  As we trust in Him, we trust in the life that He gives.  Jesus says I have come that you might have life.  We can say with confidence that this new covenant supplies life and not death.  So you go and face the world today in the confident hope of the power of God knowing that you have life.
